Traditional Interior Design

The client said "I want to feel like I am living in a Jane Austin novel" but "we still need the big screen and surround sound." To that end, we needed to create a space that would seamlessly combine classic English aesthetics with contemporary entertainment needs.

We achieved this by designing newly-built cabinetry with window seats and book shelves for an antique book collection, a double set of french doors, upholstered walls in a deep blue damask fabric, a round Persian carpet, speakers in the ceiling and large screen TV. Large comfortable swivel chairs allowed the view to change and enjoy a fireside chat or the big game.

This project beautifully merges traditional English aesthetics with modern functionality, creating a timeless and elegant living space that reflected the client's vision.
