Mid-Century Modern

The two scaled additions and interior design of this project demanded an approach that would be consistent with the the original architecture of the home built by the well-known architect Royal Barry Wills. Many of the stylistic influences of the Arts and Crafts movement were utilized through out the home including natural motifs with organic forms, craftsmanship in wood and metal work, and natural elements and materials like copper and domestic slate.

Complementing the open-plan design and the time period the house was built, the home was furnished in a mid-century modern style which created a timeless aesthetic throughout the home.
