Japanese Inspired Home
This home went through an extensive renovation to serve the needs of a multi-genrational family. A collection of Amari plates served as the inspiration for the interior design and springboarded this undertaking into life. Traditional Japanese woodworking techniques were used to create Shoji screens, a Japanese bar cabinet and bookcase, and a linear stone fireplace with a Kangi character symbolizing "happiness" engraved into black slate are some of the highlights of this project.

Mid-century modern Inspiration
The interior of this home, originally built by a well-known architect was renovated with a couple of scaled additions and an interior designed with organic forms,
clean lines, minimal ornamentation, and the purposeful use of natural materials.
The end result payed homage to the original era of the home with a timeless appeal and aesthetic.

Art Deco Inspiration
A carved fireplace surround brought back from Egypt in 1932 was the inspiration behind the interior design. Custom furniture upholstered in sumptuous velvets and silks in shades of pink, raspberry and cobalt blue were fabricated. Draperies were designed with pleats that resemble the pattern of the lotus flower found on ancient Egyptian ornamentation.

Recapturing the 1930's
This house built in 1925 was completely brought back to life with a nod to historical accuracy that melded with more modern conveniences. All of the design elements from tile to fabrics and wallpaper patterns were researched and used to evoke feelings of an era gone by that are as pretty today as they were then.

Spirited Renovation of a Traditional Home
In this two-part renovation, a guest bathroom near the kitchen was relocated to a small addition at the side entry. This meant reclaiming space for an enlarged every day dining area defined by a floor inlay and bar cabinetry. All first floor rooms were updated with a fresh look including two fireplaces and the newly added elegant guest bath.
